HB441

This bill would treat unborn children as legally protected from fertilization, remove certain exceptions that allow assault or battery against an unborn child, and allow the Attorney General to prosecute some of these cases alongside local prosecutors. It also creates a limited “coercion” defense for women charged with murder in cases involving the death of an unborn child.
