Urgent Update — Please Pray + Come Early if You Can
The Georgia State Capitol press conference is still ON at 1:00 PM Friday. Nothing about the rally changes.
But we just learned something important:
Lawmakers have been leaving session early to avoid seeing the people and to limit any influence before the press conference. Today they left before noon, and we’ve been told they may try to leave around 9:30 AM tomorrow — specifically to dodge the press conference and avoid interaction with constituents.
What we’re asking
- Please pray right now that this tactic fails, that truth is heard, and that lawmakers have courage and clarity to do what is right.
- If you can come in person, please consider arriving early (around 9:30AM if you can) to be present as lawmakers leave.
- Then, if you’re able, stay for the 1:00 PM press conference on the South Wing steps.
Even if you can’t stay for both, your presence early could matter — and your prayers absolutely do.

Georgia is at a turning point. HB 441 calls for equal protection under the law for preborn children — no more exceptions. Jeff Durbin long with other pastors and families from across Georgia will be at the Capitol to stand together and make one clear appeal: do justice for our preborn neighbors.
What’s happening
The main event is a 1:00 PM press conference on the South Wing press stairs at the Georgia State Capitol. Our presence matters. Showing up amplifies the message.
Come a few minutes early to:
- grab a sign
- find your place with other families (kids welcome)
- sing hymns
- hear pastors and representatives speak in support of HB 441
How to get there
Parking: Hackney Garage or Grady Garage
Entrance: South Wing public entrance
Go to: Press Stairs (South Wing)
Arrive early so we can fill the steps and stand together to speak for the voiceless.
Meet with your representative (arrive early)
If you can come early, try to speak with your representative one-on-one.
Step 1: Find your legislator: pluralpolicy.com/find-your-legislator
Step 2: Go to the House Chamber entrance (3rd Floor)
Step 3: Fill out a green request sheet (available there) and write something simple like:
“I’m your constituent and I’d like to speak with you about HB 441.”
Turn it in at the desk next to the entrance and wait near the rope. The earlier you arrive, the better.
What do I say?
Keep it simple: “I’m from your district, and I support HB 441. Equal protection for preborn children matters to me, and I want you to support it.”
If you can’t attend, please pray
Even if you’re out of state, you can stand with Georgia through prayer. Please pray for:
- courage and clarity for lawmakers
- strength and protection for pastors and speakers
- unity and action for the Church in Georgia
- visibility for the message and real fruit from this effort
